Working in Pencil: An Invitation to loosen your grip on perfection

When I was a kid, I loved the feel of a sharp pencil on fresh paper. There was freedom in knowing I could erase, redraw, and start again. Somewhere along the way, adulthood taught me to write in ink — to choose once, plan everything, and live like there’s no room for edits.

Working in Pencil is my way back to that first freedom. It’s a collection of stories, lessons, and gentle provocations about what happens when we treat our lives as sketches instead of final drafts. In its pages you’ll meet people — leaders, creators, parents, and seekers — who’ve dared to redraw their lines, and you’ll see how curiosity, resilience, and small experiments open doors that certainty never could.

This isn’t a manual; it’s an invitation. An invitation to loosen your grip on perfection, to make room for iteration, and to see your own story as a living work of art.
